Looking to start up my own post production company out of my house, but never worked for myself, only previously as a salaried worker. I'm not sure what to charge per hour if someone were to ask me. I'll be working mostly for other freelancers who don't like to edit, just need to dump footage and move on to the next thing. I'll have early introductory rates as I get back into editing again. I'm not even sure what that should be. In addition to editing, I'll be offering services like transcription, logging, footage organization, metadata crap, video conversions, whatever. I'm also in the south, so things are cheaper here than the rest of the country. Any advice is helpful. Thanks in advance. via /r/videoproduction https://www.reddit.com/r/videoproduction/comments/683kbz/what_rates_do_professionals_charge_for_video/?utm_source=ifttt
